The San Juan Islands are served by the Washington State ferry terminal in Anacortes. By car, take I-5 to the Burlington exit (exit 230), travel west on Highway 20 to Anacortes and follow signs to the ferry terminal. For help, GO TO THE MAP,type in
A Trophy Fishing Charters, in the box above map and click search. Click on the C
red push pin, adjust map, then zoom in. Google has me a block and a half up the street from the water,so refer to our dock map, for actual location. The map Works Great!
Ferry traffic can be heavy in the summer months and it is strongle advised to get your car in line at least one hour ahead of your departure time. During peak times (weekends and weekdays between 10am and 5pm) you may want to arrive earlier [at least two hours], as wait times can be double or triple.
If you choose to leave your car behind, you can leave it in a shuttle lot alongside Highway 20, just east of Anacortes and take a free shuttle to the ferry, or pay to park it in the terminal parking lot. For shuttle and parking information call 360.757.4433. This service is not always working, so call to check on it first. Otherwise, you can always park your car at the ferry landing for a fee.
Walking onto the ferry saves you the fee for bringing your car on; we are only a 1 minute 40 second walk away from the ferry landing. "I recommend it!"
The ferry terminal is also served by the Airporter Shuttle (from Sea-Tac to Anacortes Ferry terminal) 1-866-235-5247 and by bus (downtown Seattle to Anacortes Ferry terminal) Gray Line 800-426-7532.
There is bus service from Friday Harbor to Sea Tac Via Island Airporter, 360-378-7438 www.islandairporter.com
